Installation of Synergy

The steps required to install all the necessary software to run Synergy on a PC are as follows:

1. Red Hat Linux 7.1 must first be installed. This is on two CDs which were supplied with the Synergy system. If new copies are required then please contact us. To ensure that all the necessary options are selected during installation please download and follow these instructions.
2. You may also require the following Intel NIC driver so download it now.
3. Once Linux is running the system must be prepared for synergy. The file synergy.tgz from the installation CD supplied with the system contains all the necessary data. The file may also be downloaded from here. To install this file please download and follow these instructions.
4. Finally the latest version of Synergy should be installed. This can be found on the software download page.
